Sgt. Amy Krueger
Krueger, 29, of Kiel, Wisconsin, joined the Army after the 2001 terror attacks and had vowed to take on Osama bin Laden; said her mother, Jeri Krueger.

Francheska Velez
Velez, 21, of Chicago, was pregnant and preparing to return home. A friend of Velez’s, Sasha Ramos, described her as a fun-loving person who wrote poetry and loved dancing.

While not included in the official tally of those who died, this child was lost due to this barbaric act. We at Soldiers Bible Ministry believe that life starts at conception and while this may not be the actual image of her child, we hope it serves as a reminder that her child died with her and is one of the casualties of this attack, bringing the real total to 14 killed.

Reservist John Gaffaney
Gaffaney, 56, of Serra Mesa, Calif., had already retired from the Army as a Major, but longed to return to active duty in the Army National Guard; according to the Washington Post.

Cahill, 62, of Spokane, Wash., is the only known civilian casualty of the Fort Hood shootings.

Pfc. Aaron Thomas Nemelka
Nemelka, 19, of the Salt Lake City suburb of West Jordan, Utah, chose to join the Army instead of going on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; his uncle Christopher Nemelka said.

Pearson, 21, joined the Army about a year ago and hadn’t yet deployed overseas; said his former sister-in-law Sharon Craig.

Seager, 51, of Mount Pleasant, Wis., was a “quiet helper” who joined the military a few years ago; his uncle, Larry Seager, told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Hunt, a 22-year-old Army Specialist, was at the Readiness Center preparing to rejoin his unit in Iraq to help it pack up and come home; said his only sibling, Leila Willingham.

Kham Xiong, 23, of St. Paul, Minnesota, a 2004 graduate of Community of Peace Academy, enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Major Libardo Caraveo
Major Libardo Eduardo Caraveo, a 52-year-old Psychologist, was preparing for his first deployment into a combat zone with a support unit that helped soldiers deal with the stresses of war. He arrived at Fort Hood on Wednesday to finish up paperwork before heading for Afghanistan; his son Eduardo, 31, said by phone from Tucson, Arizona.

Juanita Warman
Juanita Warman, 55, was a single mother who worked her way through the University of Pittsburgh, became a nurse and joined the military, where she worked as a physician assistant; said her sister, Margaret Yaggie of Roaring Branch in north-central Pennsylvania.

Specialist Frederick Greene
Greene, 29, of Mountain City, Tennessee, was assigned to the 16th Signal Company, Fort Hood, Texas.

Sgt. Kimberly Munley - Injured but in stable condition
Munley is a 34-year-old mother of two and a civilian Police Officer employed by the Army. When Maj. Nidal Hasan launched his bloody rampage at the Army base, Munley tracked him down outside a pre-deployment facility and fired on him striking him twice in the upper Torso. Munley was hit in both legs and her wrist during the gun battle but stayed on her feet and kept firing at the charging gunman and subsequently stopped his rampage possibly saving many lives.
Sergeant Munley, Thank You for your service to this nation! You are in our thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery as well as your family and kiddos. May God richly bless all of you!

Spc. Grant Moxon
Moxon, 23, of Lodi, Wis., arrived at the Texas base Wednesday and was preparing to deploy to Afghanistan. His father, Dave Moxon, said his son was shot in the leg. He was sitting in a processing room Thursday when he heard a commotion and found himself eye-to-eye with the shooter. After being shot above the knee, he pretended to be dead until the shooter moved away.
Grant Moxon is a Mental Health Specialist - the same field as shooting suspect Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan.

Joey Foster
Foster, 21, from Ogden, Utah, was shot in the hip. He was preparing to be deployed to Afghanistan. His wife, Mandy, 23, said he got hit and grabbed as many people as he could who were being shot at and ran to the back of the corner.
Foster is scheduled for surgery today to remove fragments of the bullet. His brother Chris is stationed in Germany.

Spc. Keara Bono
Family members said Friday that 21-year-old U.S. Army Reserve Spc. Keara Bono was shot in the back of the shoulder during the attack.

Ray Saucedo
Saucedo is from Lansing, Mich. His wife says Ray was not shot, but that he had a scratch on his arm and was bleeding, so he was taken to the hospital. She said he is physically fine and is back at work, but is very upset because one of his best friends is among the dead.

Cpl. Nathan Hewitt
Hewitt's uncles say one bullet grazed his hip and a second went through the 26-year-old soldier's calf. Their nephew's injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.
He was in a base medical center getting vaccinations when the shooting began; according to an uncle, who also said Hewitt yelled at other soldiers to follow him and they fled through a door.

Amber Bahr
Bahr's family says she was shot in the back and is undergoing tests. Her mother, Lisa Pfund, says she was relieved when the 19-year-old Bahr finally called Thursday evening. She told her mother she went running when shots rang out, and didn't realize she'd been hit until she went to an emergency room.

George Stratton III
A soldier from Post Falls, Idaho, Stratton was shot in the shoulder during the attack. His father, George Stratton II, told reporters that he received a phone call from his 18-year-old son immediately after the shootings. He said his son is expected to recover.
The younger Stratton was working at the Fort Hood readiness center. His father said he was about five feet away from the shooter when he was hit.

Staff Sgt. Alonzo (Mac) Lunsford
A Richmond County, N.C., native, Lunsford, who is in his early 40s, had been stationed in Texas for about a year. He was shot three or four times, and two of the bullets have been removed.

Clark is from Des Moines, Iowa. She was shot in the arm and is in stable condition, awaiting surgery.

We express our deepest sympathy and condolences to the family members, friends and colleagues of the murdered and injured soldiers and civilians of the Fort Hood attack. Our prayers and condolences go out to each and every one of you as we once again mourn, as a Nation, the loss of life on American soil.
Please join us in prayer for the families of those who lost their lives, and for the wounded and their families as they begin to piece their lives back together. Also, please pray for the untold numbers of soldiers and families who have been traumatized by this horrendous act of senseless violence.
